Born in Vanadzor, Armenia in 1989, Nareh studied with Alexander Gurgenov at the Tchaikovsky Music School in Yerevan and at the age of 15 became the youngest student to enroll in the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Nareh continued her studies in The Hannover University of Music and Drama.

Having more than 30 various concertos in her repertoire, Nareh has already performed with many of the world’s prestigious orchestras including Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Radio-Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Opera Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta and Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra to name only few. Nareh frequently gives recitals in major cities throughout Asia, Europe and North America. She is a regular guest in renowned festivals. Nareh has become a laureate of numerous competitions, to name a few the Franz Liszt, Mozart, Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli as well as Herbert-von Karajan and other prestigious competitions.

Many of the world’s esteemed conductors have collaborated with Nareh including Kent Nagano, Alain Altinoglu, Yasuo Shinozaki, Olari Elts, John Axelrod and others. Nareh is also a dedicated performer of chamber music appearing at summer chamber music festivals throughout the world with various music partners such as pianists Arnaldo Cohen, Carlo Grante, violinists Midori Goto, Hyeyoon Park, cellists Peter Wiley, Narek Hakhnazaryan and others.

Following her successful debut solo album released in 2009 with Canadian Analekta Label, Nareh signed an exceptional contract with Pentatone Records in 2011, releasing a CD of solo works by Rachmaninov to a great critical acclaim. Furthermore, she was selected as the Artist of the Season by Pentatone and partnered with Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and Alain Altinoglu to release 2 more CDs containing Liszt’s all piano-orchestral works as well as Prokofiev and Khachaturian Piano concerti to a great acclaim. For her recordings, Nareh was awarded the title “The artist of the year” by Musical America Magazine and other awards from BBC Music Magazine and Gramophone.

Since 2015, she became “Bösendorfer Artist”, joining such great names as Michael Jackson, Abba, Placido Domingo, Daniel Barenboim, Andras Schiff, Paul Badura-Skoda and others.

Nareh currently resides in Vienna.
