Anna Kasyan is one of the most prominent sopranos of her generation. She has established herself in a wide repertoire of opera and sacred music to chamber music, from baroque to contemporary.

Kasyan made her debut on various international venues, such as Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Novaya Opera of Moscow, Royal Opera House of Muscat, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Opéra de Nice, Royal Danish Opera Copenhagen, Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, Salzburg Easter Festival, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Ravenna Festival, Radio France Festival.

She performs with conductors of great renown, such as Riccardo Muti, Kent Nagano, Claudio Abbado, Placido Domingo, Paolo Carignani, Teodor Currentzis, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Alain Curtis, Jorgi Savall, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Roberto Abbado, Marco Guidarini, Giuliano Carella, Daniele Callegari, Fabrizio Maria Carminati.

She has worked with directors such as Pier Luigi Pizzi, Davide Livermore, Philipp Himmelmann, Cristina Muti, Carlo Verdone, Jean-Paul Scarpitta, Frédéric Bélier-Garcia, Stefano Mazzonis, Daniel Benoin, Denis Krief, Martin Lyngbo, Gilles Bouillon, Frédéric Roells, Pier Alli.

Anna Kasyan has performed numerous opera roles: Susanna, Fiordiligi, Amital, Poppea, Calisto, Zerlina, Despina, Eurydice, Iphigenia, Berenice, Rosina, Clorinda, Anai, Norina, Musetta, Micaela, Leonora, Wellgunde, Hélène, Mimi, Adalgisa, Rusalka and Nedda.

In addition to her stage work, Anna Kasyan performs regularly in recitals at various prestigious venues around the world, including Carnegie Hall - NY, Bolshoi Theatre - Moscow, La Scala – Milan, Flemish Opera, Wilfrid-Pelletier Hall - Montréal, Herkulessaal - Munich, Théâtre de Châtelet and the Cité de la Musique - Paris, Opéra de Québec, St Petersburg Philharmonic Hall, Konzerthaus - Dortmund, Opéra de Marseilles, Victoria Hall – Genève, Bozar - Brussels, Olympia - Paris, le Château de Versailles.

A refined performer of the Mozartian repertoire, Anna Kasyan has been invited many times to incarnate the heroines of his operas. Welcomed and warmly applauded by the Roman public for her Rusalka, she returns to the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma for the role of Susanna / Le Nozze di Figaro in the famous Strehler’s production. Her recent successes include Fiordiligi at the Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari and the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden; Zerlina at the Festival de Radio France and the Operas of Toulon, Montpellier, Rouen and Metz; Despina at the Konzerthaus in Dortmund, St. Petersburg Mikhailovsky Theater, Toulon Opera House and Novaya Opera in Moscow, where she also played Susanna.

After her debut at the Festspielhaus in Baden-Baden (Fiordiligi/Cosi fan tutte), a long artistic collaboration is born between the young singer and the Greek conductor Teodor Currentzis. Having become the artistic director of the Perm Opera House, Currentzis presented the audience a rare opportunity to hear Anna Kasyan performing two vocally and dramatically opposing heroines - Fiordiligi and Despina - from one evening to another. After these performances, Currentzis re-invites her for the role of Susanna/Le Nozze di Figaro in the new co-production between the Perm Opera and Festspielhaus of Baden-Baden. The audience as well as the Russian critics were dazzled by the young singer's quality of performance and singing, which earned her nominations in 2013 and 2014 at the Golden Mask Russian Performing Arts Festival and the National Theater Awards in the category “Best Female Artist”. In 2013 under the baton of Currentzis, Anna Kasyan records the role of Despina for the Sony Classical.

The Ravenna Festival invited Anna Kasyan to take part in concerts within the framework of "Le voci delle preghiere", where she performed the Armenian and Georgian spiritual songs, as well as "Le vie dell'Amicizia" under the baton of Riccardo Muti in Ravenna, Piacenza (Italy) and Nairobi (Kenya). These concerts were filmed by the TV channel RaiUno and recorded by radio Rai3. Those broadcasts were made to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy.

An excellent actress, Anna Kasyan has been selected by producer Andrea Andermann (RadaFilm) for the role of Clorinda in the film-opera La Cenerentola ... una favola in diretta. Signed by Carlo Verdone, one of the renowned actors of Italian cinema, this film-opera was broadcast live on Rai Uno as well as in more than 150 countries of the world, and is available on DVD. She takes up the same role at the International Baroque & Romantic Opera Festival of Beaune under the baton of Spinosi.

The meeting with Carlo Verdone, opens new horizons in the artistic life of Anna Kasyan. She debuted in Italian cinema with the female protagonist role in the comedy L'Abbiamo Fatta Grossa, alongside the famous actors Carlo Verdone and Antonio Albanese, signed by Verdone and produced by FilmAuro. The Italian press and television highlighted Anna Kasyan's fabulous cinematographic debut.

Having participated in many album recordings, in 2017 Kasyan released her first CD Recital - Shades of Love - Italian cantatas by Handel.
